This is a reminder about the First Balkan Surgical Congress, which will take place from April 23 to 26, 2025, at the Kraljevi Čardaci Spa Hotel, on Kopaonik Mountain, Serbia.

• Accreditation: The congress is accredited by the Health Council of Serbia (15 points for speakers, 10 points for listeners).
• Official Language: English (Presentations must be in English, speakers may choose the language in which they speak during their presentation).
For Speakers:
• Abstract Submission: Please send your abstracts to abstract@balkansurgicalmeeting.rs. Maximum length is 500 words.
• LAST DEADLINE: February 21! If you do not send the abstract by this date, the organizers have the right to change the program.
• Presentation Duration: 15 minutes (strictly adhered to).
• Deadline for Submission: Presentations must be submitted to the technical staff at least 3 hours before your presentation.
Registration:
Registration Fee: 150 EUR (certification, coffee and lunch break, dinner)
Only paid registration, they get an ID that will give them access to the Congress.
Accommodation and Costs for Speakers:
Accommodation for speakers is free of charge (3 nights), including congress access and social events (welcome reception, lunch, coffee break, dinner).

Single Room: 9,890 RSD per person per night
Double Room: 5,690 RSD per person per night

Tourist tax and insurance: 140 RSD per person per night.

Please confirm your participation by April 1, 2025. After this date, applications for participation in the congress will not be accepted. On-site registration will be possible and amounts to 300 euros in dinar equivalent according to the official middle exchange rate of the NBS euro on the day of the payment. Registration fees can only be paid in cash on the spot.

We are pleased to invite you to the First Regional Surgical Congress, which will be held from April 23 to 26, 2025, in Kopaonik, in Kraljevi Čardac. The goal of this congress is to improve surgical practice in the region through the exchange of knowledge, experiences and the application of innovations, while raising the level of quality of health services in the field of surgery.
This prestigious event gathers top experts in the field of surgery from the country and abroad, with the aim of improving knowledge and exchanging the latest achievements in surgical practice. During four days, participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures by eminent foreign lecturers, as well as domestic experts, who will present the latest innovations, techniques and clinical studies.
In addition to the scientific program, participants will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange experience and establish new professional collaborations. The location of the congress, in the heart of the Kopaonik mountain, provides an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy nature, after a rich program of lectures.
The vision of this event is to connect surgeons from all over the Balkans, create professional ties and strengthen regional cooperation in order to improve surgical science and practice.
The mission of the First Regional Surgical Congress is to become a permanent platform for continuous education, exchange of new techniques and application of the most modern achievements in surgery, in order to provide patients with the best possible care.

The seminar will be held at the beautiful Kraljevi Čardaci complex on Kopaonik, known for its unique combination of natural beauty and luxurious accommodations. Kraljevi Čardaci offers a wide range of amenities, as well as modern conference rooms that provide ideal conditions for work. Situated on one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia, Kopaonik, the complex allows visitors to enjoy fresh mountain air, lush vegetation, and stunning landscapes. The location is easily accessible by car, and various amenities are available for guests, including restaurants serving traditional and international cuisine, a gym, and numerous outdoor activities such as hiking and walking.
Kraljevi Čardaci on Kopaonik is located about 290 km from Belgrade and about 100 km from Niš, making it easily accessible to visitors from across Serbia as well as those coming from abroad. The nearest airport is “Konstantin Veliki” Airport in Niš, approximately 120 km away, while “Nikola Tesla” Airport in Belgrade is about 270 km away. Transportation to Kopaonik can be organized from both airports, with several private transfer options available, allowing for comfortable travel directly to Kraljevi Čardaci.
